Paul Bunyan

As a huge fan of history and literature I chose to create an illustration in honor of the North American folklore icons Paul Bunyan and Babe the Blue Ox. The folklore of Paul Bunyan include a wide variety of short stories about his adventures in the North American frontier, but  my favorite include his unique companion Babe the Blue Ox. Below I have included some of my early sketches and color compositions to show a little of my process.
